The overcast skies and warm afternoons the past couple of days have made the snook happy. Started to see snook busting bait in the shallow back coves. Had to switch to a Black & Purple Gurgler
to keep from catching on the bottom.
We presented the fly ahead of the cruising snook by 3' and stripped the fly when it got right in front. We took 4 snook up to 25". That is about as large a snook can fit in 7" of water. With the dorsal fin cutting through the water like a shark the guys from Ohio had a great sight fishing morning.
