I haven't been in the 188i but the Z21-I is a similar model.
The Ranger Intercoastal series is a favorite among redfish pros like Ray Van Horn(Z21-I) and Greg Devault(Z21-I). If you're an angler that enjoys both bass and flats fishing it's definitely the boat for you.
I've spent several tournament days in the Z21-I and found it to be a great fishing platform with ample storage that you don't see in flats boats. The best advice I can give you is to test drive one, the ride will sell you and the Ranger warranty is the best in the industry!
